Aims & Objectives
We aim to:
Provide a Warm Homely Atmosphere
Encouraging and enabling Residents to bring their own items of furniture and mementos.
Make dining rooms and lounges comfortable and warm.
Close liaison and effective supervision of staff to maximize the Residents’ comfort and staff welfare.
Actively encourage and welcome friends and relatives to visit and providing tea/coffee and meals, where appropriate for all visitors.
Maintain Dignity & Individuality
Ensuring that privacy is adhered to at all times and staff always request permission before entering a Resident’s room.
Applying minimum restrictive regulations necessary for a harmonious atmosphere.
Ensuring Residents’ confidentiality and privileged information is never discussed outside of managerial requirements.
Supporting Residents in personal grooming and dressing.
Participation in aspect of the Home Management
Holding regular meetings collectively and individually with Residents to discuss problems and encourage suggestions which may enhance their surroundings.
Social Activities
Ensure that Residents are aware of all available social activities.
Provide transport for outings and club meetings.
Encourage residents to participate in new activities.
Encourage residents to use the Day Centre facilities and all the services which are available through the Day Centre.
